Annisa Pirasteh, LMFT

Annisa Pirasteh, LMFT

I chose the field of marriage & family therapy because I have always been fascinated with how humans communicate & connect with one another. It is a great honor & privilege to support individuals & couples struggling to communicate more effectively and connect in a more loving way.

I have always enjoyed the supervisory experience. My passion for supervision has translated into my doctoral research on creative & aesthetic approaches to family therapy live supervision. I enjoy supporting budding therapists in developing a unique theoretical approach to clinical practice that ensure their success with clients.

My hope is that new professionals can continue to grow the field of Marriage & Family Therapy by showcasing the unique approach we have as systems thinkers. In addition to helping individuals, couples & families, I hope they utilize their knowledge to make an impact to larger systems as well.
