Chris Sand-Ashley, IMFT-S, LPCC-S

I was a social worker in Cincinnati for five year, working with abused and neglected kids, foster families etc. Over and over again, I was aware of the missing piece in my training and perspective. The missing piece was the family system. I love the hope and possibility in working with the family system!

I saw supervisors be promoted into a supervisory role without the training and decided to pursue the Approved Supervisor track. I have such a passion for the privilege of guiding, supporting and empowering supervisees on their journey of being a therapist!

My hope is that new therapists grow in their curiosity and their beliefs in hope and possibilities. I hope they nurture and "fill" themselves to protect their passion and commitment. I hope that they actively utilize support and guidance always in that our work is deeply challenging.

WORDS I LIVE BY:
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.  We are the change that we seek.” – Barack Obama
