I chose this career field to be a change agent for individuals, couples, families, and communities. Holding people's hands in the most difficult moments of their lives is not only humbling, but also rewarding.

I supervise because I believe it's my duty to guide new clinicians through the process of full licensure. I believe licensure is the way to increase agency and professional control, so I want all my supervisees to achieve their preferred license.

I hope new professionals realize the responsibility we hold as therapists. I hope new professionals challenge themselves to build the humility and empathy needed to join in the struggle(s) with our vulnerable clients, fighting with them for positive change.
