Carol Harp, Ph.D., LPC/MHSP, ACS, DCMHS

Having benefited from counseling myself as a young woman, I know first-hand the value of an empathetic listener in a safe space.

I have been a counselor for over 20 years. I remember as a new graduate how much I valued the supportive input of a therapist with more experience than myself. I love the idea of paying it forward.

Great counselors are needed more and more these days. I hope that new professionals entering the field will have the opportunity to learn, work, and grow with the population of clients they are drawn to. Everyone has their perfect niche.
