Jessica Gibbe Fernandez, Ph.D., LMFT

I had always had a strong interest for the human mind and behaviors. “Why do we do the things we do?” After answering a career aptitude test and seeing psychology was the premier option to pursue it made sense to match my future career with my character traits and motivations. I loved the idea of being a clinician, understanding, and helping others.

I had a great mentor who inspired me, guided me, and helped me in more ways than I can explain. He was the reason to pursue my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am forever thankful for the guidance and can only think of paying it forward. As a gatekeeper for the profession as well as a guiding hand for the next professionals, I want to help.

Growing ourselves up helps us become better in all aspects of our lives. Having passion and self-care - learn to balance work/life is not only a skill for ourselves but to teach our clients. Be the model to help others grow.
