Kara McDaniel, Ph.D., LPC

My decision to become a therapist has afforded me the wonderful opportunity to gel two very important fields of interest: mental health and medical family therapy. It is an honor to be able to walk alongside and to support others throughout their journeys of growth and healing.

There is no doubt that I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for the guidance and support of my academic and professional mentors. Providing supervision gives me the chance to give back to my professional community, to help keep my clinical skills current, and to learn from my supervisees.

When providing supervision, one of my greatest hopes is that new therapists find professional fulfillment and success and become more comfortable and confident as they discover their unique journeys within the profession.
