Jennifer Vann, LMFT

Jennifer Vann, LMFT

As an undergrad in a totally unrelated major I was riveted by my intro to Marriage & Family class. Listening to the professor talk about proactively engaging with families to establish healthy systems was a new idea to me. The idea of helping broken families heal gave me hope and I wanted to be a part of giving others hope.

For me, supervision is a way to give back to the profession that helped me grow and learn. I enjoy helping new therapists transition into their professional identity after graduation.

My hope is that new professionals will not feel alone! I remember that wandering feeling after graduation that often felt overwhelming. I really enjoy helping new therapists feel connected, using and appreciating their strengths to find their place in our professional community.
