Kama Hurley, LCPC
I've been drawn to this field since I first picked up a Jungian psychology book at age 12. Helping people find ways to heal themselves and live their lives with passion, fulfilling their goals, keeps me in it.
I love working with students and new professionals. They are curious, excited, and passionate. It's a reminder of why we all entered the field and keeps me grounded. I love watching professionals grow and gain confidence in themselves and their skills.
I hope new professionals can gain the confidence in themselves to relax in the room with clients and be present. I hope that they can really allow clients to feel heard, get out of their own ways, continue to grow, and help clients heal and grow and meet their potentials.
