Mark Kaplafka, LPCC-S
I chose to work as a counselor because I felt like it was a calling to help people work through their pain to live their truth.
I love helping supervisees cultivate and nurture their identities as therapists and take risks to move outside their comfort zones. Additionally, I wanted to provide a space for students to have a better supervisory experience than the one I had.
I hope new professionals will find their therapeutic centers, their areas of passion to practice, and will learn how to listen to their internal therapeutic intuitions to help them be stronger and more insightful therapists.
