Susan Stork, LCPC, NCC

I relish helping people find their superpowers, strengths, inner voices, and skills to develop great relationships while embracing their unique selves. Personally, intention in life drives me. I seek to mentor others who also carry this intention in their clinical work and in their greater lives and lend it to our greater world.

I use a strength-based approach to therapy with anyone who's ever felt like a black sheep (or as I call them, a "black unicorn" in disguise): eccentric, out-of-the-box, bohemian, or non-conformist. Supervising and teaching allow me to assist with the growth of the next generation of clinicians. In a mutual sense, I also enjoy the creativity, gifts, and abundant insights that newer therapists bring to clinical supervision. Witnessing up-and-coming therapists grow into confident professionals is a true gift.

As clinicians, we should never forget the power of our presence in our clients' lives. As clinicians, we can serve as a buffer against our clients' harsh realities, and we can influence them to grow beyond their muck.
