Vanessa Tate, LMFT

Vanessa Tate, LMFT

I chose a career in this field because, from a young age, I knew I was intuitive and had healing insights, observations, and ways of being that could be of service to others. I have always considered it an honor to hold space for another person to come into their full potential.

I supervise because I have a passion for teaching and nurturing others into becoming the most authentic versions of themselves as therapists, counselors, and healers. This implies that I am not interested in creating clones! Because I am so serious about being an excellent and creditable supervisor, I am currently in the process of completing my certification to become an AAMFT (American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists) Approved Supervisor.

I hope new professionals find their voices, their places in being of service to others, plus the honor and the gifts to being in this field. And I hope they do so with integrity, constant learning, and increasing self-awareness.
